Memorial Paw Print ($35)
A memorial paw print can be made during your appointment for $35. Many families find this a meaningful keepsake to hold onto after their pet has passed.
Emergency and Same-Day Appointments ($550)
Both emergency and same-day in-home euthanasia appointments are available at $550. If you are facing an urgent situation, reach out directly — Dr. Ray will do everything he can to be there when you need him.
Behavioral Euthanasia ($580)
Behavioral euthanasia is available on a case-by-case basis at $580. Please reach out to discuss your situation with Dr. Ray before scheduling. Note that New York State law requires a 10-day waiting period following any bite incident before euthanasia can be performed.
Large Breed Fee ($100)
There is an additional fee of $100 for large breed dogs 90 lbs and over.
Natural Passing at Home — Cremation Services Available
If your pet passes naturally at home before an appointment can be scheduled, Zen Dog Vet can still provide cremation services subject to availability. Pricing is the same as listed above based on your chosen aftercare option, with an additional $175 travel fee.
How Payment Works
An itemized invoice will be emailed to you through Square the day before your appointment. We strongly encourage payment before the day of the appointment — not because it is required, but because it allows Dr. Ray to focus entirely on your pet and your family from the moment he arrives rather than handling logistics at the door. This helps keep the at-home pet euthanasia cost process simple and transparent for every family.
If payment is made on the day of the appointment, cash and all major credit cards are accepted.
