and when you call, he is the one who returns your call. A Long Island native, Dr. Ray attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed his clinical training at The Ohio State University. Before founding Zen Dog, he spent five years practicing at a busy Long Island hospital, where he developed a deep respect for the human-animal bond and the weight of end-of-life decisions.
Dr. Ray’s mission is simple:
to ensure that every pet’s final chapter is met with the same care, dignity, and compassion they deserve.
